KT Biography
Karri Turner portrays Lt. Harriet Sims, a naive, hard-working administrative assistant assigned to JAG who is married to colleague Lieutenant Bud Roberts (Patrick Labyorteaux) in the one-hour, dramatic adventure series JAG, a Belisarius Production in association with Paramount Network Television for CBS-TV.
Born in Bentonville, Ark., Turner attended Oral Roberts University for two years before moving to Southern California to enroll in acting school. Following her graduation from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, she performed with the famed Groundlings comedy troupe and the West Coast Ensemble theatre company.
Turner has also appeared in a recurring role on FOX's "The X-Files" (as Tara Scully, Gillian Anderson's sister-in-law), and she portrayed Eric Lutz's assistant, Honey Potts, on NBC's hit series "Caroline in the City." Her other television credits include guest-starring roles on NBC's "Suddenly Susan" and FOX's "Wild Oats," and lending her voice to episodes of "South Park."
Turner's feature film credits include Paramount's "It's Pat" and "Pilot Season."
On stage, she has been seen in productions of "Cereal," "Charlie's Aunt," "As You Like It," "Merchant of Venice," "Amadeus," "Godspell," "Talking With," "Hamlet," "South Pacific" and "Hay Fever," among others.
Turner lives in Los Angeles. Her birthday is December 21st. (1966)
